One Family - one Vision
Our story began with Ayhan Akman's decision to found a company specialising in personal financial advice. In the 1990s, we traditionally offered our clients, often citizens of Turkish origin like our founder, a typical Turkish tea or coffee. This gesture symbolised our desire to create a familiar environment in which our clients felt at home. Despite technological advances, we continue to uphold this tradition and endeavour to make every interaction a personal and meaningful conversation. In the year 2000, Ilhan Akman joined the company to support his brother Ayhan. His dedication and expertise played a crucial role in our success. In 2015, Ilhan became CEO, bringing with him innovative and solid leadership. Meanwhile, Ayhan dedicated himself to new projects and maintained a partnership relationship with the company. This transition helped to consolidate the company and cement our reputation as a trusted name in the world of private credit counselling.
The merger with Credaris
In 2022, Akman Finance and Credaris, the leading broker on the Swiss market, merged. Credaris was founded in 2014 as a sister company of Comparis.ch and developed into the largest private credit broker in Switzerland. Credaris has been independent since 2022. Despite the change in ownership, Akman Finance has retained its family-run management and advisory team, which has pursued a personal and trust-based service philosophy since the 2000s.
